How to remote to school PC from Mac?

  1. Go to the Mac store and type Microsoft remote desktop
  2. Install option with orange icon image  
  3. When it is downloaded open the application.image  
  4. When you open the application, go to the application icon on the taskbar and right click on the Microsoft Remote Desktop icon and in options select keep in Dock.   image 
  5. In the application click on New.     image   
  6. Enter the credentials as shown below, the name of the connection is your choice.
    Enter your computer number (This is provided by your teache)
    In the username field, put your username under the format:
    StudentID@mtl.herzing.ca = 5431467@mtl.herzing.ca (example)
    Mtl\Student ID = mtl\5431467 (example) and under the gateway field put rd-gateway.mtl.herzing.ca
