Frequently Asked Question

To get an Autodesk educational plan you need to follow the following steps:

• Open autodesk.com in your internet browser.
• Scroll all the way down and look for students and educators under Support and learning.
• Click on Get Products and the click Get Started.
• Create an account with your personal email or your school email address (StudentID@mtl.herzing.ca).

Note: Verify your email address (For school email login with outlook)

Next step is to confirm your eligibility.

• • Confirm name, email, country, institution type, institution name and date of birth.

  • Next confirm your date of birth.
  • Last step is confirming your eligibility by uploading any one of the following documents within 14 days.
    • School issued confirmation/Enrollment letter (Preferred)
    • Transcript

  Autodesk will take up to 48 hours to confirm eligibility.
  After confirmation Autodesk products are available to use.
  NOTE: Subscription is only for one year, but it is renewable if you are still eligible as student.
  After being approved software’s are available to download and install in personal pc or laptops.
  Please note that you need to register first before using a specific product for example AutoCAD, Revit etc., to get registered you need to download those products from your Autodesk Account.
